Current Activities and ProjectsEric Stephan has over 14 years experience in the field of data modeling and database architecture. His repertoire of experience includes:
Mr. Stephan has extensive modeling experience using the entity relationship, object modeling technique (OMT), and the universal modeling language (UML) to develop concept, logical, and physical data models for scientific and engineering projects. He developed a way to use an Apache server with a mod_dav module as a lightweight scientific data management server using the WebDAV protocol. The WebDAV protocol offered a unique way to provide scientists an open context schema to manage objects, collections and metadata in a problem-solving environment.
